Moss Control
• When?      Spring and Fall, when weather is cool and damp.
• Why?        Moss can take over a lawn and rob nutrients from turf. Unattractive.
• What?       Lime, prilled lime works best applied 3 weeks before moss control. Moss grows well in acidic soil, by raising pH you make it more difficult for moss to survive and weaken it for further control.

BC Brand Dogwood   9-3-6 or 5-0-0 Liquid Moss Control and Fertilizer applied 2-3 weeks after liming. Iron is toxic to moss but good for greening up turf. 9-3-6 also helps raise pH while the iron kills the moss.

** NOTE** Rake out dead moss, and overseed using Richlawn Overseed and Patch. For a better lawn, lightly overseed entire lawn to blend in.
