Dykhof Nurseries is looking to fill the following positions:

Floral Assistant

We are looking for floral assistant to help out in our floral department.

Our floral department focuses mainly on cash and carry bouquets.  

We are looking for someone:

• Who has had previous floral experience or training.
• Has customer service experience.
• Is an organized individual
• Works well with others
• Previous cash experience is an asset

Part Time Seasonal Cashier

We are looking for someone:

• Who has previous cash experience who can provide our customers 
  with outstanding customer service. 
• Has a basic knowledge of plants 
  (i.e. knowing the difference between an annual, perennial and a shrub)
• Is a self starter that is able to work independently and as 
  part of the team in a fast paced environment
• Is an organized individual

  Duties will include, but are not limited to, customer service,   
  pricing and putting away store product, cleaning, sweeping and maintaining a clean store, helping customers carry items to their car.

  This job requires extended periods of standing and walking, the ability to perform regular lifting as well as exposure to varying weather conditions

Candidates must be able to work at an 8 hour day shift as well as at least one weekend day shift.

Seasonal Yard Worker

We are looking for an outdoor yard worker to help us out during the spring season with potential for full time work.

We are looking for someone:

• Who is a self starter that is able to work independently and as part 
  of the team in a fast paced environment
• Who is physically fit and able to lift/carry heavy items.
• Has knowledge of plants and gardening
• Is able to assist customers in the yard with questions and plant advice. 
• Previous nursery experience is an asset

Duties will include, but are not limited to, unloading trucks, 
pricing and putting away nursery product, and assisting customers 
in the yard as needed.  

This job requires extended periods of standing and walking, the ability to perform regular lifting as well as exposure to varying weather conditions

Candidates must be able to work at an 8 hour day shift as well as at least one weekend day shift.
